Overview

Notifications gives you a focused view of meetings, feedback replies, campaign replies, CRM follow-ups, and important account alerts available in your current workspace. Use the All, Unread, and access-scoped Type filters to narrow the list, then open an alert or mark the feed read.

How to use this page

  1. Open your notifications

Open the Notifications bell (at the bottom of the sidebar on a computer, or in the top bar on a phone), then choose View all notifications to open the full page. The page shows your updates, the current unread count, and the latest notification cards. The bell also shows the unread badge wherever you are in the platform.

  2. Filter the feed

Choose All to show the available feed or Unread to show only unread alerts. Open Type and choose an event, such as Meeting Booked, or choose All types to clear the type filter. Focus the selector and press Up or Down to open it. Use Up/Down to move, Home/End to jump to the first/last option, and Enter or Space to choose. If a search field appears, type to filter, then press Down to reach the options. Escape closes without changing the value; Tab closes and moves on. Options depend on your account. On a phone, Type sits below All and Unread. Changing a filter starts again with the newest matching alerts. If none match, broaden the filters.

  3. Load older notifications

The page first loads up to 50 matching alerts, newest first. If more are available, scroll to the bottom and click Load older notifications to add the next batch. Your All or Unread and Type filters stay in effect. If loading fails, your current list stays visible; click Try again to retry the older batch. The button disappears when there are no more matching alerts.

  4. Read an update

Click a notification card to open its destination when it includes a link and save it as read. Unread cards have an accent edge and a dot beside the time. The card and unread count change only after saving succeeds. If saving fails, the alert stays unread; open it again to retry.

  5. Clear the unread feed

When unread alerts exist, click Mark all read in the page header. On a phone, it spans the width beneath the heading. The cards and unread count update after saving succeeds. If an error appears, retry the action. You can also use Mark all read in the bell dropdown.

  6. Use the notification quick view

Click the Notifications bell to preview the newest alerts without leaving your current page. On a computer it opens beside the sidebar. The quick view includes All and Unread pills, the same access-scoped Type selector, recent alert cards, and View all notifications for the full feed. Press Escape or click outside the dropdown to close it.

  7. Find shared workspace controls

On a computer, a row of icons spans the bottom of the sidebar, just above your profile: Notifications at the left, then Background, theme and (when available) the assistant, with Search at the right. Search opens centered at the top of the screen; the other panels open beside the sidebar. On a phone, the same icons sit at the right of the top bar with Search first and Notifications last, and their panels open beneath it. Search and Notifications follow the current workspace. Select Search or press Ctrl/Cmd+K to search records; Escape closes it. Background opens a grid of backgrounds: Charcoal (called Plain in light mode), Random, Hive, Hive Purple (called Hive Bold in light mode, with bolder orange cells), Ink, Pink Ink, Facets, Lightspeed, Caustics, Veil and Dusk (called Dawn in light mode). The tiles are listed most popular first, by how many people have picked each one, so the order can change over time. Charcoal (Plain in light mode) shows no scene; every other tile is a live scene. Hover a tile to read what it shows. Random shows a different live scene each time you open or reload the app, and picking it switches to a new scene right away. Your pick is saved in this browser and counted toward that order; until you pick, or if your saved scene is no longer offered, the company default shows. Every scene has a light and a dark version that follows the theme toggle. Picking a tile keeps your current theme, and the tiles preview the version for that theme. Use Find a page in the sidebar to filter navigation links; on a phone, open the navigation menu first. Platform client selection remains above sidebar navigation. Select the SalesHive logo to open Agents when you have access to it.

  8. Find a navigation page

Type in Find a page... above the navigation links to filter the available pages. Use Clear navigation search to restore the list. This filters page links; use the Search icon (Search this client) in the sidebar icon row, or the top bar on a phone, to search the selected client.

What the buttons do

Notifications bell
Shows the unread badge and opens the quick view of recent alerts.
All
Shows notifications across the available feed.
Unread
Limits the page to unread notifications and shows the unread count when one exists.
Type selector
Filters the page to one event type available to your account. Long menus include Search notification types. Choose All types to clear this filter.
Notification card
Marks the alert read and opens its destination when a link is available.
Mark all read
Marks your notifications read and clears the unread count after saving succeeds. The action is disabled while saving; retry if an error appears.
View all notifications
Opens the full platform Notifications page from the bell quick view.
Load older notifications
Adds the next batch of older alerts using your current filters. Appears only when more matching alerts are available and is disabled while loading.
Try again
Retries a failed load. After an older-batch error, retries that batch while keeping the alerts already shown.

Common questions

All shows the available notifications. Unread limits the list to alerts you have not opened yet and includes the current unread count.
The Type selector is populated with the notification types your account is allowed to access, so different roles can see different options. In a managed client workspace, self-serve plan alerts such as Failed Payments and AI Credit Alerts are not listed. If every workspace you belong to is a self-serve workspace, it lists only the updates your plan sends, in plan wording such as Interested Prospects and Feedback Answered.
Its destination opens when the alert includes a link. The platform also saves the card as read. If that save fails, the alert stays unread even if its destination opened. Return to Notifications and open it again to retry.
When your kickoff, playbook review or another call with SalesHive is booked in your Deal Room, your team gets a Meeting Booked alert titled, for example, Your playbook review is booked. It says who booked it, your SalesHive host and the time, and opens your Deal Room, where that call lives. If the call is cancelled or removed, a Meeting Cancelled alert says it needs a new time or was removed, and also opens your Deal Room. These calls never appear in Booked Meetings, which lists your prospect meetings.
In a self-serve workspace with an active plan, yes. A Campaign Replies alert names who replied and to which campaign, with a short preview, and opens the inbox when you select it. It goes to whoever connected the mailbox that got the reply, or else whoever created the campaign, or else your Client Admins. It arrives in app and as a push notification, not by email. Out-of-office replies, bounces and similar automatic mail are skipped, and more replies from the same address within 30 minutes do not alert again. In a managed workspace, your SalesHive strategist is told instead.
Yes. When a teammate gives you a deal, contact, company or general follow-up or moves one to you, a notice shows the action and due date. It opens the associated deal or the contact's or company's Follow-ups section in the correct workspace. General actions and unavailable contact or company links open your follow-ups in Deals. Assigning a follow-up to yourself sends nothing. In a self-serve workspace with an active plan, each morning from 8 AM Eastern, if you have open CRM follow-ups due that day, one notice says how many and opens Deals with the list set to Assigned to me and Due today. In other client workspaces these come as Follow-up Reminders, which also send one notice each weekday morning (8 AM to noon Eastern) with how many are due today and overdue, opening Deals on Assigned to me and Due today or overdue. Both arrive in app and as a push notification, not by email.
Click Mark all read in the page header or in the notification quick view. The unread count resets after the request succeeds.
Click the Notifications bell at the bottom of the sidebar (in the top bar on a phone), then click View all notifications in the dropdown footer.
The selected unread or Type filter has no matching alerts in the current feed. Choose All types or All to broaden the results.
