Overview

Playbook is the live client strategy document with evidence-grounded generation, scripts, email copy, launch planning, the assigned SalesHive team, and controlled client access. Your SalesHive Team splits assigned people into Leadership and SDRs groups. Email cards keep Variant A on the left and Variant B on the right. Internal editors can restore a removed Post-Call card with a gold Restore button, or add the next open card. Full email toolbars include web-safe fonts, sizes, a short color set, and selected-text capitalization. Launch Plan headings use the same Newsreader treatment and stay editable. Meeting Handoff sits below Objections and can insert a Company Website merge field.

How to use this page

  1. Open the client strategy document

Choose a client in the switcher, then open Platform > Onboarding > Playbook. Use the section rail to move among Generate, Your Team, aliases, strategy, targeting, proof, calling script, email copy, Objections, Meeting Handoff, Launch Plan, and Calendar. Meeting Handoff is below Objections on every Playbook.

  2. Review Your SalesHive Team

Open Your Team to see the assigned SalesHive people, roles, contact emails, and connected email accounts. Leadership cards cover strategists, managers, and sales leadership. SDRs cards cover the SDRs working the engagement. Co-strategists appear when assigned, each person appears once even when they hold multiple assignments, and a Playbook may intentionally omit SDR Manager cards.

  3. Review and edit the strategy

Read generated content against approved client material. Keep client facts, proof, pricing, offers, and operational details grounded in direct client context or verified research.

  4. Manage generation inputs

Internal editors can add shared request details, approved reference links, and other generator inputs. The page shows that AI model and reasoning are managed centrally in Agents > Models for Playmaker and Playbook, rather than selecting a model for an individual generation.

  5. Edit post-call and campaign email cards

Open Post-Call Emails or Auto Emails. Cards for the same step sit in one row, with Variant A on the left and Variant B on the right. Internal editors can update each card's subject and formatted body. The full email toolbar includes Font, Size, color swatches, and an Aa capitalization menu for selected text. Authored font, size, and color stay in the saved copy. A card saves after a brief pause and when you leave a field. Its status reads Saving while the edit is being stored and Saved when the latest change is complete. Calling-script and compact note editors keep their smaller toolbars.

  6. Add or restore a Post-Call email card

Internal editors can remove a Post-Call card or choose Add email to create the next open slot, first filling a missing Variant A or B on an existing step, then adding the next step up to the ten-step maximum. Removing a card cancels pending post-call emails from that card, while sent and in-progress deliveries remain unchanged. Deleted cards appear in a Deleted email cards list with a gold Restore button so you can bring back that exact variant without adding a new step.

  7. Edit meeting email templates

Open Meeting Handoff, which appears after Objections. Review active saved Meeting Confirmation Email and Meeting Handoff Email cards, including on a legacy Playbook that predates the display marker. Internal editors can update the subject or formatted body with the same full email toolbar. Use Fields to insert supported merge tags. Meeting Handoff Fields include Company Website ({CompanyWebsite}) and Email ({Email}), along with owner, answered-phone, and meeting date or time tags. The default hand-off copy includes a Company Website line between Company and Email. This changes copy only, not recipients or sending behavior.

  8. Review Launch Plan headings and contact groups

Open Launch Plan to review approval and activation details. Sales Rep Info uses the same Newsreader heading style as grouped contact cards. When a launch field has grouped headings, the page shows those groups as titled cards. Internal editors can rename the field heading, a group label, or a card title, then leave the field to save. Simple ungrouped notes stay in the ordinary text field.

  9. Review email copy as a client

Client viewers remain read-only. They see the assigned team groups, formatted meeting email cards, and campaign email cards alongside the handoff process.

Common questions

Leadership can include assigned strategy, onboarding, customer leadership, sales, responders, and related roles. The SDRs group shows the SDRs working the engagement. Connected email accounts appear on the matching cards. Co-strategists appear when assigned, and the list reflects the engagement's current setup.
The roster removes duplicate people when one person has more than one assignment. The first applicable role is used so the card stays clear.
A Playbook can be configured to omit SDR Manager cards from its presentation. This changes what is shown in the Playbook, not the underlying SDR assignment.
No. Model and reasoning choices for Playmaker and Playbook are managed centrally in Agents > Models.
Meeting Handoff is below Objections in the section rail and in the document. The meeting email cards and handoff content still live in that section.
Internal editors can edit each template's subject and formatted body in Meeting Handoff. Active saved templates appear even on legacy Playbooks that predate the display marker. The card saves automatically, and client viewers remain read-only.
Use Fields to insert supported tags. Meeting Handoff includes prospect Company Website ({CompanyWebsite}) and Email ({Email}), plus owner name, answered prospect phone, and meeting date or time. Send-time merge fills Company Website from the prospect company website.
Each email step keeps Variant A on the left and Variant B on the right. If one variant is missing, that side stays empty so the remaining card keeps its place.
Yes, on full email editors such as Post-Call, Auto Emails, and meeting emails. Choose a web-safe font, a size, a color swatch, or use Aa to rewrite selected characters. Calling-script and compact note editors do not show those personalization controls.
Use Add email to fill the next missing Variant A or B, then add the next step until the sequence reaches ten steps. After you remove a card, use the gold Restore button on that deleted card to bring the same variant back without adding a new step.
No. They change copy only. Recipients and sending behavior remain controlled by the existing email-template settings.
The label reports whether the current email-card copy is still being stored. Wait for Saved before leaving the page if you have just made an edit.
Sales Rep Info and grouped contact headings use the same Newsreader title style. Internal editors can rename the field heading, group labels, and card titles. Those names save with the launch fields. Ungrouped notes stay in a single text field.
