Overview

Upload History is the client-scoped audit trail for CSV uploads, campaign imports, and manual contact batches. It shows total rows alongside deduplicated unique contacts, with search plus View and Download on every row, and Send to Files for managed clients. SalesHive team members also see Re-tag and Delete. Use Send to Files when an agent needs the live roster, including call counts, on the client Files tab. Finished imports also create that Files copy automatically. A self-serve workspace does not see Send to Files, because client agents are not part of the self-serve plan.

How to use this page

  1. View import history

The page is scoped to the selected client and lists every saved CSV upload, campaign import, and manual batch. The summary band shows Total Uploads, Total in Uploads (all saved list memberships), and Unique Contacts (deduplicated contacts across those memberships). Each row shows list name and file, contact count, source badge, campaign, uploader, and date. Managed clients can use Send to Files when an agent needs the live roster on the client Files tab.

  2. Review per-batch stats

In each row, the contact count is paired with a small breakdown. New counts contacts the import created. Updated counts contacts you already had that the upload updated. New plus updated never adds up to more than the contacts shown. When the file listed the same contact more than once, the extra rows show as repeat rows merged. In a self-serve workspace each contact counts once per upload, so a batch sent again after Resume import adds nothing. Updated and repeat rows are hidden when they are zero.

  3. Re-tag contacts from a batch

SalesHive team members can select Re-tag on a batch row to set a Tag, a List name, or both on every contact in that list, without re-importing. Leave a field blank to keep it unchanged.

  4. Send a list to Files

Choose Send to Files on a batch row to copy that list's live contacts onto the client Files tab. The file is named from the list plus agent roster and includes Contact Status, phones, Total Calls, Last Contacted and Last Email Sent, so call-count and last-email questions need only this one file. The toast reports the contact count and file name. A finished import also writes this Files copy automatically. Not shown in a self-serve workspace.

  5. Delete a list record

SalesHive team members can select Delete on a batch row to remove the list grouping. The contacts themselves stay in the client's pool; only the grouping record is removed.

  6. Download a list

Select Download on a batch row to save a CSV of the contacts currently in that list, with email, name, company, title, phones, location, industry and company details.

What the buttons do

Manage contacts / Run contact search
Links in the intro card. Manage contacts opens the client's Contacts page and Run contact search opens Contact Search. A self-serve workspace does not see Run contact search, because Contact Search is not part of the self-serve plan.
Source badge
Shows how contacts entered: CSV Upload (file import), Campaign Import (added through a campaign), or Manual (added by hand).
Per-batch stats
Shows the batch contact count with new and updated counts, plus repeat rows merged when the file listed a contact more than once. Hover a label for what it counts.
Re-tag
Sets a Tag, a List name, or both on every contact in the batch. Shown to SalesHive team members.
View
Opens the Contacts page. It shows all of the client's contacts, not only this list. Use Download to get just this list's contacts.
Send to Files
Copies this list's live contacts, including Contact Status, Total Calls, Last Contacted and Last Email Sent, onto the client Files tab so agents can review and clean the roster. Not shown in a self-serve workspace.
Delete
Removes the list grouping record. The contacts remain in the client's pool. Shown to SalesHive team members.
Download
Downloads a CSV of the contacts currently in this list.

Common questions

No. Deleting removes only the list record (the grouping). The contacts stay in the client's pool.
CSV Upload is a file you imported. Campaign Import came in through a campaign. Manual was added by hand.
SalesHive team members can select Re-tag on the batch row, then enter a Tag, a List name, or both. Each value applies to every contact in that list. Leave a field blank to keep it unchanged.
Each row shows the batch contact count with new and updated counts. New is contacts the import created. Updated is contacts you already had that the upload updated. Rows that repeated a contact already in the same file show separately as repeat rows merged, so new plus updated never exceeds the contacts shown. The detailed import summary, with skipped and blocklisted rows, appears on the Contacts page right after the import finishes.
Yes. When you import a CSV, the mapper has fields for Notes and Follow Up Date. Both are populated on import and reflected in the per-batch stats.
Total in Uploads adds every saved list membership, so a contact present in multiple lists can count more than once. Unique Contacts counts each contact once across the selected client's lists.
It saves that list's live contacts to the client Files tab as a CSV. Each row includes the Platform Contact ID, contact and company details, phones, Contact Status, Total Calls (calls logged to that contact), Last Contacted, Last Email Sent (the latest campaign email to that contact, across every campaign), list, meeting and campaign fields. The contacts stay in the client's pool. A self-serve workspace does not see Send to Files, because client agents are not part of the self-serve plan.
Usually no. A finished import already copies the live roster to Files when it can. Use Send to Files if that automatic copy is missing or you need a fresh one.
Download saves a CSV of the list's current contacts to your computer. Send to Files saves a fuller copy, including status, call counts and campaign fields, to the client Files tab where agents can use it. Neither is the original uploaded file. Self-serve workspaces have Download only.
Your workspace is on the self-serve plan. Send to Files copies a roster for client agents, which the plan does not include. Use Download to save a list's contacts as a CSV.
